A Dream Realized: Our First Visit to Bulidha Primary School

Impact • Mar 18, 2026

On March 18, 2026, Einstein Rising Canada visited Bulidha Primary School, marking the Uganda launch of our pilot Sister Schools Project.  Our team delivered school supplies, including 25 SeatPacks, to support learning and encourage attendance. The students welcomed us with plenty of smiles and laughter as well as artwork, songs, and cultural dances. This meaningful connection aims to improve education standards, build English proficiency, and inspire future ambitions, while fostering an ongoing relationship between Bulidha Primary School and its Canadian sister school, St. Mary's Catholic Elementary School in Goderich Ontario.

Here are some highlights of our visit: https://youtu.be/xF2bvCnHHD0

Why I started Einstein Rising Canada

Einstein Rising Canada was founded by Derek Lobo to bridge opportunity gaps between developed and developing regions through mentorship and entrepreneurship. Inspired by his privileged upbringing in Canada and connection to Uganda, he sought to use his time, experience, and passion for travel to empower young entrepreneurs. Uganda was chosen for its youthful population, economic potential, and personal significance. The organization addresses challenges like poor education, limited infrastructure, and lack of business support by providing mentorship, investor access, and practical guidance. Through initiatives like the Sister School Program and community partnerships, Einstein Rising Canada aims to create sustainable businesses and lasting social impact.
